The Tuesday Summer CSA from Chispas Farm features a variety of seasonally available produce including but not limited to: Lettuce heads, Kale, Chard, Carrots, Turnips, Radishes, broccoli, Cabbage, Joi Choi, Peas, green garlic, fresh and cured onions, assorted fruit as available, leeks, heirloom tomatoes, sweet peppers, hot peppers, eggplant, fresh herbs, cured garlic, beans, and so much more as available. We will do our best to ensure no 2 weeks are identical with healthy portions of each item in the share.

The Single Share is recommended for a household of 1-2 adults or a larger household that cooks less often. If you want a larger quantity of food, we recommend buying two Single Shares. An example share in the early season would be something like: 1 bunch green garlic, ½ lb peas, 1 lb sweet salad turnips, ½ lb kale, and a 3 oz bunch of chives. In the high summer, an example share would be something like: 1 lb heirloom tomatoes, 1 lb eggplant, ½ lb rainbow chard, 1 lb cured onions, and ½ lb shishito peppers.

Summer Tuesday CSA pickups take place every Tuesday at Chispas Farm (229 Saavedra Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105) throughout the growing season between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00 p.m with the first share of 2025 being June 10th and the last share on approximately October 21st. There is an option to come by the farm on Wednesday or Thursday following the main pick up, in the event you are unable to make it on Tuesday evenings. If you are out of town and need to miss a share, you are welcome to have a neighbor, friend, or family member come to the share in your stead to pick up your share.

Use Code ALTPAYMENT at Checkout if you’ll be paying by EBT/SNAP/DUFB, Payment Plan, or any method than in full by Credit Card! Using that code will mean you do not have to pay right away at check out. Casey will follow up with you once we receive your registration to confirm your preferred method.

Pickup Procedure / Other relevant information for your CSA share will be sent in a confirmation email a couple weeks prior to when pickups begin. If you’ve selected offline payment as your preferred payment method we will also follow up separately with you.
